What idiots, I can't believe how incredibly pun heavy IGN and Gamespot have become over the past year. It really didn't used to be this bad, but now every ****in' story includes a horrible pun for some reason

Actually, it's a stupid title and represents everything I've come to hate about Gamespot and IGN.

Take a rather boring article (the addition of Ocarina of Time to VC isn't really that unexpected), add a controversial headline that suggests trouble in paradise (emulation problems came to mind), and then fall back on its usage as a pun.

They're using every VC press release to fill up their news log nowadays, and those are the most pun-prone

Alls I need is a points card and a classic controller now. I remember playing OoT but I forgot basically everything about it so I need to get it again. And the classic controller is because i'm sick of using my GCN controller.

In keeping with the usual dumb ploy of making retarded puns, Gamespot's story about Ocarina of Time hitting the US virtual console (no ****, this was one of the first confirmed games) is titled "Ocarina of Time to blow on VC". Insinuating of course that the game is going to be broken in some regard, but the article itself only talks about how it's going to be on there starting Monday, so 'har har', the big joke is that you blow an ocarina to play it, so they feel as if this somehow excuses the use of a pun. They do this stuff all the time, I can't say this one bugs me anymore than any of the others, IGN has done it so many times... let me get a few examples

For some reason this has become a trend, I guess they realized it really did sway traffic

What I got was just from the past two months... there was basically a stupid ass pun every other day referring to Wii games in some regard, I noticed a few slips on other console's games too, I can't imagine what the list would look like if I included all the consoles...

Wow, at least Game Informer doesn't suck like that! Well, maybe except when they said "Mawiio Wules" at the start of their (first? second? I forget) preview of Super Mario Galaxy.

Please keep this topic to being about OoT actually being on VC rather than how Gamespot/IGN/Game Informer/Gamespy/Newsweek sucks.

I have it on every other console imagineable, so I don't suppose I need it on Wii...
