I don't know, as i'm not using it until the security is better than a stick in the road blocking a car.

Microsoft will probably fix these problems in newer versions... probably.

At the monent I expect the majority are running vista on computers made for XP, which is why it's a bit slow. Once they start releasing PCs that are able to run it perfectly as standard it'll be worth upgrading.

I'll be getting a notebook for my brithday, with preinstalled Vista Home Premium.

After I heard all those complaints about Vista not working, I hope this is only because of those upgrade versions that are installed onto an old PC.

I'm just going to wait on upgrading to Vista until they come up with some damn good patches that actually address everyone's problems with it.

Like with all fresh software, of course it's going to be rough. Lack of drivers, unfixed bugs from RC2, and lack of proper 16-bit application support are some problems that exist as of now. Give it a few months and a lot of problems will be ironed out - it's why I'm waiting until September-ish to upgrade.

My dad had Vista on his laptop, but he had to downgrade it because he couldn't even use some of the things he had.

But yeah, it's laggy, buggy, and not worth it.

Yeah, wait a bit before actually getting it until they work out all the kinks. I have to wait till I can get an entirely better computer, but I'm getting it eventually.

Neutral. I see no reason to upgrade until a game I want uses DX10. Not to mention I have Linux which seems to be able to mimmick aero well enough.

Well, not really, but whatever.

This is what I assume, too.

I have an express upgrade that is only valid for another month. I want to upgrade to Vista but I've heard so many mixed reviews.
