Playstation Home confirmed, 360 Achievements + Sims + Miis

So basically a little virtual world that collaborates some of the basic ideas of 360's and Wii's "communities" so far.



And I have no idea if that picture is real, I just see it everywhere.

Although that won't really raise their current status in the gaming industry...

I wonder how similar it will be with Miis

I couldn't care less until they start retailing at £20 £10 a piece.

But it's not like I didn't expect the PS3 to launch something that tries to utilise other people's efforts again. I tell you that Boomerang E3 controller's the best thing they've done with the console, and even that's been re-made.

They're putting Second Life on the PS3?

With all the profound questions of Second Life included:

I actually laughed rather loudly when I heard that woman say it's far more exciting than anything else on other consoles.

In other words, this looks incredibly dull. Technically it's probably very nice, but look at the characters - even THEY don't look as though they want to be there.

It actually looks good but the fact it's a complete ripoff of many things kills it for me.

Has Nintendo ever sued anyone? Cause if there was a time to do it, It'd be now.

Doubt it, they look nothing like Mii's. They look more like the sims or something. Also I doubt nintendo would sue over such a small thing.

Looks like something out of The Sim's 2.

Sony typically does this: take an idea started by another company and refine it. If this thing was on the 360 or the Wii, everyone would be praising it and bowing down to it, but the fact that it's made by Sony is making everyone's gut reaction be "This is horrible". The fact it's even on the PS3 in the first place dooms it though.

That being said this is really unoriginal.

I think the 3D achievement thing is kinda cool. Sounds nicer than the 360's achievements anyway.

great, there not content with screwing up by only stealing some ideas from Microsoft and Nintendo, now there taking more and screwing up even worse! Microsoft and Nintendo sould file a joint-lawsuit, with the two of them working together, Sony wouldn't stand a chance.

You can't really sue for something like this, it isn't even that similar to Miis.
