Of course, I have to level up tons to beat Brock as his pokemon own mine right now.

I'm right before Bill's House on the trail above Cerulean. My team right now consists of:

Audrey 2 (Level 14 Bellsprout)
Boober (Level 14 Mankey)
Blaine (Level 14 Paras)
Buzz Buzz (Level 14 Beedrill)
Pasquirlio (Level 15 Pikachu)
Peebo (Level 14 Clefairy)

I shoved my level 18 Wartortle in storage cuz he's pretty much useless on Misty.

So far, playing this has made me realize how much I liked Pokemon Blue back in the day, and how much I dislike Hoenn in R/S. Personally though, I liked a lot of the new Pokes in that game, but I must say I like it a LOT better not having a Poochenya or a Zigzagoon shoved in my face every five seconds. Rattata and Pidgey are about as bad design-wise, but they have a bit more charm. :P

One thing I do NOT like is the stupid recap I have to go through everytime I load up my game. Like I need to remember how much I spent in a goddamn Pokemart.
And good god, the help menu is HILARIOUS. I boot it up when i started my game, and it said: HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS ROOM? Seriously. WTF.

And god, I'm SO glad to see Team Rocket again. I'll cry if I have to endure Team Aqua's lameass **** ever again.

OMFG. I had to find 3 hours until I found one.

Yes. That's still in there. (I haven't found any berry trees yet though)

Breeding IS in there, but you have to beat the Elite Four and get the national dex and go to one of the mystery islands that's new to the game. Mystery islands look interesting, you can get much of the jhoto pokemon.

The Audrey II Belsprouts are inevitable.

Sadly, those buggers aren't in fire red.


I'm currently looking into all the moves learned for different evolution stages. like, Meowth learns swagger at lvl 45, but if you let him evolve into a persian at lvl 28, then he won't learn that move until level 61. heehee!
