Ok sure, the British have some pretty insane history ranging from the 500's but that's no reason to blame them as the future inducers of the apocalypse.

You know, Americans have to put up with everyone ragging on the Bush Administration all the damned time, perhaps a little criticism will put you in your place. Many of these points are well founded, even if others are over-the-top.

You do realize that most of the ragging toward the Bush administration is from americans right?

Yes, I do realize this. But even here on this board I have seen the likes of Australians and Europeans complaining about Bush, even when they know hardly anything of the situation.

Isn't it a little hypocritical of him to bring up the Versailles agreement? I mean... he's expecting completely outrageous reparations for events which happened hundreds of years in the past, sometimes. Fun Fact: THIS WON'T TEACH ANYONE A LESSON. All it will do is stunt the growth of Britain as a Nation and cause more trouble than its worth. We actually LEARNED this from the Versailles Treaty (big success that was, stopped war for a whopping 20 years). This guy obviously doesn't realise that what he's asking is to completely cripple Britain as a Nation. Which is exactly what happened in Germany 1919... absolutely reeks of hypocrisy.

You did *read* them right? I don't see many points that actually help the argument without remarkably cutting the truth up into little pieces.

Yes, the points and logic behind this guy's suggestions and opinions are either irrational or well, too optimistic or something? Paying people or crippling Britain won't magically solve everything and anything, it's horribly biased

Although from my own standpoint, (and maybe off topic) I'm pretty tired of European members going "you and your crazy amendment things in America" and "lol america" in many topics in General Chat - I swear every news topic that's related to North America in some way has someone going "you and your crazy government", and to be honest I'm sick of it. It doesn't seem like people that have these types of comments understand what they're talking about, and that goes for everyone, someone going "omg british caused every problem in the world" and "lol stupid constitution" alike.

Anyway, we're studying up on Apartheid in South Africa currently, and although it did originate from when Europe colonized Africa, that's not the only reason. Yes, terrible things have happened and may continue to happen but pointing fingers at the British for all these things is just ridiculous, it's never black and white, and this is what this guy appears to be thinking.
