I got one for my birthday, since I consider it the best "classic" style controller out there.
And I'm not disappointed.
It feels comfortable, better than the old Xbox controller and suits SNES games better than the Game Cube controller.
The Xbox360 controller saved my day =)

Anyone else got this controller?
Or do you think there's a better one out there (for the PC)?

Discuss.

This is my controller. I find it quite awesome because it has vibration, turbo and light features. Vibration works perfectly on Project64 too. And it cost me only 8 dollars =)

the 360 controller is amazing

in fact i bought two wired ones just so i could have one for the 360 and another for PC (so i dont have to keep switchin them cause im lazy)

also the controller is perfect for playing Dreamcast games, since they basically share the same button layout almost :P

If I can remember right, I'm pretty sure you can buy a 360 controller (not for Windows), hook it up to the PC, download drivers, and save $10.

Either way, definitely a good controller. I'm wanting one. My current gamepad has a strange problem with the left joystick that makes it too sensitive/tilts it to the left.

it's the best general-purpose controller period, though if i want to play fighters or such i've got something else that's plenty adequate (hey, sup fupoo and delmore?)

I got nothin' to use on the PC. :(

I'm considering buying one of these since I really like the feel of it.

The only difference between a normal wired controller and a "For Windows" one is a driver CD - you can download the drivers from Microsoft anyway.

And yes, fantastic controller.

I tried the 360 controller way back, and the only flaw I remember from it is it's too light.

It does look the most comfortable one available at the moment. It's a while since I've used one (and it was one of those display versions, so it couldn't be moved) so I don't know if it's more comfortable than the GameCube one, but from what I remember it beat the PS2 one. It would probably be my first choice for a PC controller... but I don't need one since this Keyboard does the job fine in most cases.

Some games still work better with Keyboard-Mouse combination.
I couldn't think of a better way to play Prince of Persia =)

It's how I did it =P

And I'd get another for the Linux compy to replace the PSX pad, if it wasn't for the fact that drivers aren't out yet. Ah well, it roxxors on the Windows laptop.

Yeah, it is pretty awesome. The only better one I've ever seen is the Logitech equipment, and that's because you can configure it to run on any game.

so take it apart and put some clay in the handles or something
