Probably April Fools, but if not it's good to hear. I'm not sure what system to get it for though ;_; 360 will probably have the upper hand in graphics (And judging from the past games, the gameplay is guarentied good), but I'm unsure about how the Wii will control. I'll probably get it for 360 since I'm lacking games on it, and all the games I want are coming out 2008 (Besides Halo 3).

Katamari isn't the same if it's being ****ed out, rather then being one of those special one of a kind things, the second one was basically forced for the creator to make it? Then he quit so he could make playgrounds and bash the Nintendo Wii for not being innovative or something.

I'd rather have this on Wii because I honestly couldn't stand the controls on the We Love Katamari demo

They are not being made by the creator, but they can still make them.

Doesn't mean it'll get outside Japan though... sadly.

I've always wanted to play a Katamari game, but I've never seen them in shops meaning I'd probably have to import it... and I think the first one only got a PS2 release anyway (And my PS2 can't play your fancy NTSC region games). Hopefully if this is true it'll be worth getting.

Seriously? I read that EA brought over We <3 Katamari. In fact, it's on their website.

I thought the creator of the franchise said that he would discontinue the series after "We love katamari".

This was answered earlier in the topic, but these games are being made without his involvement. Just like Me & My Katamari was.

We <3 Katamari, the PS2 sequel, was released here in Euroland. EA published it :) But not the first one. The PSP sequel was released here too, I think. Or... maybe it wasn't... Wikipedia doesn't have an EU release date. Hm...

Anyway, W<3K is a great game which I highly recommend!
