Keys refusing to respond while pressing certain, keys in Game Maker

While making a game, trying to press left while holding down, control, and shift, the left key will refuse to work. It works fine if I try it with right, but not left.

What the hell.

EDIT: Upon further insection, it also seems to do this with just about any other GM game. Not sure about TGF/MMF games, though. But yet again, right works perfectly fne.

EDIT again: After testing even more, using any combonation of thos keys makes the fourth pressed not function. God damn.

I dont really know what it could ne, did you try asking in gamemaker forums? maybe someone can help you there.
I tried this but in my comp all that happens is that non of the keys would work and a litle sound will play, like a beep.

Oh, I get it. It must be Stickykeys or whatever it's called.

I'll just have to make it so those keys never need to be pressed I guess.

must be that, I always have problem with these xD
whenevr I press more than 3 or 4 keys at the same time or when I press shift,ctrl or alt 5 times.

This is a limitation of keyboard hardware. In fact it will be different from keyboard to keyboard. I made an MMF application quite some time ago that lets you explore legal key combinations on your keyboard. It can be quite surprising what is and isn't allowed.

You can turn off StickyKeys in your computer settings. If a window ever comes up, try clicking "Settings" buttons and stuff; I don't remember the exact procedure.
