I tried creating a theme for an overworld, and this is what I came up with so far.

I revised the midi to have a more constructive rythym. You may find some surprising tabla sounds in it also.

You can definitely tell this is motivated by the TP Hyrule Field theme, though that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I think it's the woodblocks (that's the instrument they sound like to me) that are bothering me. When separating them from the song, they sound great and rhythmically work. Unfortunately, they're not rhythmically working with the tempo and the general time signature of the song.

I suggest perhaps just having them hit on every beat, and on a double-note every fourth beat.


Other than that, good work!
