Paper Mario 2 help (Boggly Woods area)

I need help in Chapter 2 of PM2, Boggly Woods.
I'm trying to get to Flurrie's house. I got to an area with a pipe, a panel on the top of the pipe that lets you fly and two enemies. However, I can't fly high enough for long enough to get to the end. And, there is a blue switch I can't hit.
What can I do? I don't want to look at a guide, to avoid spoilers.

I think you use Koops and his shell to hit the switch.

You're sorta right, you do use koops for something

If you go the that ledge you need to fly onto, which is past the enemies of course, you'll see that part of it looks strange at the bottom, there's an opening, go in it and go around and you'll emrge at the stumps where when you go left, you'll get to the switch. hit the switch and it wil lraise the plane platform and you can make it to the top of the ledge, with good flying. (Don't forget to use Koops to nab the Shine Sprite to the left of the plane platform!)

EDIT: I had this problem yesterday when I was playing PMTTYD again, well actually my problem was flying once the platform was up but more to the point, i did it recently.

Sorry for bumping.. But I didn't really want to make another topic.
I got to the Great Tree, defeated the Jabbies, etc.
Now, I'm stuck trying to get the Punies out of the cage.
I put the Puni Orb in a pedestal, then a cage fell on us and Lord Crump and 2 X-Nauts came.
I got out using R, then I managed to get the super boots and open a hole inside the cage. However, I can't get the punies to go through the hole. I've tried both with the puni orb in the pedestal and without it. It's really annoying. How can I do this?

Keep looking for an upgrade for your boots, when you find an upgrade for your boots, ground pound the floor inside the cage, then use flurrie to blow wind at the punies so they will fall down the hole.

edit: I think that's how it went if I remember correctly.

I'm trying to only ask when I'm truly needing help. I don't want to spoil the game with a walkthrough like I did with PM.

I don't care if something like yoshi as a partner gets spoilt. It's minimal enough. Maybe if you posted a full list of yoshi's attacks, when you acquire him in the game and what he does it would be a spoiler. But just knowing "Yoshi is a partner" isn't much of a spoiler.

I'm now trying to find Ishnail so I can learn where Don Pianta is.
I found someone who will tell me where he is for 64 coins, but I only have 45 (or something like that). How can I get more coins easily?

Dunno about the coins, but in case I'm not mistaken, Ishnail is somewhere at the back alleys of Rogueport. You need the rolling ability or something like that.
It's been ages since I played PM2.

If I remember correctly, buying sleepy sheep from Rogueport and selling them in Petalburg earns you 2 coins/sleepy sheep. I might be wrong. or you can just try to solve troubles in trouble center (you mostly earn coins from them)

Don't buy help, go to the shop with the kittyboo and buy a dried shroom and a dizzy dial then say your favorite color is yellow and it ask agian and say yellow agian.

I eneded up paying because it's been so long

But yea that's what you do, save your money for when you really need it, such as when you are buying those items.

Or you could go and kick a lot of enemies. That also helps with experience, which you will need coming pretty soon if I remember right.

I'm now going through the Glitz Pit. I'm somewhere at ranking 4, 5 or 6, can't remember.
I'm at the stage where I can't reserve battles for the second time. I'm in the storage room, got the email saying to find the staircase switch, but I can't find it at all!
Can anyone tell me where it is, or at least, give me a hint to it?
