I still can't see the point in editing Miis on a PC when the Wii has a perfectly functioning Mii creator built in.

Some people might feel like they have no dexterity with the Wiimote, I guess. The editor is fairly no frills as well so it's a little faster if you already have the equipment.

But I still agree with you, since I'd rather be able to rotate my caricature and see it from all angles.

Hmm... well, what if there was something on it thats not on the creator?

(that is a good point)

If the Mii channel had features the flash Mii editor was missing, then it'd be incompatible when loading Miis (or it would substitute "mystery" parts for something else that was already available). If the flash editor had parts that the author added, the Wii probably just wouldn't read them at all.

The obvious reply to that is "Why the hell did they buy a Wii in the first place then?" wink.gif

Of course, the flash version will be rendered useless if Nintendo/some other company release a Wii mouse of sorts. I can't see the point in that since the Wii remote does everything a mouse does and more, but hey, if companies are going to release the same Mii creation software as on the Wii, there's nothing stopping them releasing a Wii mouse.

Exactly how much additional customization is possible with the Mii editor thing?

For the disc not functioning you could always use the playing imported gamecube games disc.

I really don't see anything that great, except for editing the MAC address so it becomes one of your Miis (which means you can edit them on your system or give them different pants colors).
