If this is true (I’m just finding out about all this and am not sure if I have all the details down) than I’ll go as far as to say that this is the fairest insta-perma for something other than a repeated offence ever handed out for some time.

And with this event, Derrike has a stand-still on how i feel about my personal information online.

Mechabowser committed banable offenses, so he's banned. You're advised to use caution when dealing with Mechabowser, not act rash and retaliatory.

It's my sincere hope that when this is all over, Mechabowser will do the responsible thing and stay away from MFGG, and that the members here that don't like him will leave him alone and not communicate with him. And whoever still wants to be friends with him is perfectly entitled to that, but weigh the consequences and make educated decisions.

I read through the whole topic. Most of it is people saying they'll delete MFGG Ware, the admins repeating the same thing over and over again (and people still talk about it), and at some point unrelated stuff.


Basically, the first post is sufficient information. (There are little interesting tidbits in there occasionally, though)

I was just talking to Elly about how people are reacting with one extreme or the other. It's either "OH GOD MFGG IS GOING TO DIE NOW" or "UNBAN HIM NOW HE'S NICE."

I may have pushed it too far with the bold and size of the words in that post, but It's very true that those things can happen, to anyone on the internet.

It happened to a girl in my school years ago.
And it was around 5-6th grade.
She met some 40 year old guy on the internet and he got her information and either kidnapped her or tried to kill her. Apparently something so bad they wouldn't let her come back to school.

It's a pretty relative thing, though. I'm nineteen, so I'm probably not going to be the target of child molesters--which is why it doesn't bother me that my personal information is readily available with very little effort (of course, I'm not going to say HOW here, but it should be easy enough to figure out).

This is really not that big a deal to me. For what it's worth, after my first couple of interactions with him, MechaBowser came off as standoffish and arrogant anyway. It sucks to see an otherwise decent member get the boot, but hey, **** happens.

I don't know how hard it is to find my personal information (I won't post it, though!), but my IP address is easy to find.

Oh ****, that reminds me. Awhile ago with that Super Smash game he was making, he sent me a PM with a download saying it was an "exclusive demo" for me, since he knew about how harsh I was about the first one. Never downloaded, and I think it's a dead link now anyways, but perhaps that was something other than a demo. You never know!

That's weird. MechaBowser seemed like a pretty cool guy last time I talked with him.

I really wanna know how he found out my details. anways, it's too dangerous to say how to do that. But my sister would never give out my personal details. Well she's not really my sister. (parents are divorced). She even don't know my adress. Maybe my phone number but not more. And I'm sure that she dont know where I'am born.
And like I said. She would never do that.

I PMed MechaBowser a while back, requesting a SSBF demo as well. I'm glad that he didn't reply. That's just scary to even think about.

It sounds like he googled some information too, so your sister could have given some things that didn't seem harmful and he researched the rest.

true. But I talked with my sister ages ago and she said that she never had talked with MechaBowser again since that hacking stuff at mfgg (before he blackmailed me)
