MFGG Party (canned for now please lock), Mario Party Time!

CANNED for now

It seems many people are wanting a Mario Party game, and perhaps based on the forum. I am going to try my hand at making a MP game with forum mebers but obviously, i cannot do it alone. i need help with some aspects of the game and perhaps people can make their own minigames and boards etc.

This is all just getting started so i haven't got it worked out yet. Post ideas if you would like to see this go through. (By the way I plan to make this in TGF2)

And by the way the main things i need help on are:

- Characters moving and the dice number following them and counting down as they pass spaces
- Switching to different characters for their turns - not much
- Making the minigame roulette
- Making it so when you come back from a minigame everyone is in their respected positions.

Hell, that's a lot I need help with. Well that's basically all I'll need help with besides people making their own minigames, providing sprites, making their own boards etc.

If i can't make it, I would love to see someone go through with this, I'm just putting the main idea down on the table.

I think there's a tutorial on the main site for making a minigame roulette. It might just be for MMF though. can't remember

Unfortunately for you, for MFGG games, you need solid proof you've started the game (it probably applies to all games, but I think it zeroed in on MFGG games because they have the most trouble providing product). This topic will be locked.

No, you see, everyone knew this was never gonna happen.

A. You're flaming mario
B. You have no proof
C. Most MFGG games never get finished
D. You asking us for a lot of help

I guess I'll go work on it some more of course, then add more screenshots besides the title.

The title doesn't really count as a screenie, seeing as how you could whip one up in 30 seconds.

You don't seem like the kind of person who would be able to accomplish this.

it would probably come off that way, but you've never seen any of my games, because I have never submitted any to the viewing public. However, in some ways you are right because there are some parts that I would have HUGE amounts of trouble with, but you could at least let me try.

How about, I leave doing a forum game for now, and perhaps submit another game so you can see my abilities first before i try something so big. I thought about that the minute you said that.

Whatever, but i think you could have at least expanded on why you said that as you did a second ago.
