| QUOTE (demonlemon @ Mar 26 2007, 09:46 PM) | | let me rephrase that the only program I have that does imaging is paint. I had a demo of paint shop pro last year that I used to make those terrible crayon sprites and tilesets I submitted a while ago but it has long since expired. What other programs use gradients I guarentee I don't have them I don't even have word. |
Even still, Even picking Each and every lame colour by hand, does not excuse these Terrible excuses of pipes. Here i made an example of what you could do to make, My pipes for example.. bigger. Look, no half billion colors, it's 16 pixels wider then fat shy-guy from YI, and it looks nice. Mind you i would of personally changed the shading if i wasn't doing this quickly, to give a slightly more rounded look, but this was quick. This post has been edited by Nova on Mar 26 2007, 08:52 PM

Dunno if these are supposed to be for GBA or DS or anything.. anyway the pipes top part are a bit too square. Round them up, not too much just like a rounded square. Although it's probably is annoying but.. they do use up alot of colors Using less might make it look better, not trying to be mean.. but Gradients are evil when it comes to pixel art. And mabye hueshift them a bit (example) use this palette if you wish. If i were you you might wanna remake some, making a few could help you making these things even more just trying to help you out. These are kinda cool btw
