What do I think about what? Your opinion? That you're entitled to it but I disagree.

And I already said what I thought of putting the search on top. My opinion is that it looks better. Again, just my opinion.

Well if it gets that way I'm going to be incredibly disappointed.

Skin choices would be a nice idea for the site...(since we have login and crap...it seems possible)

Skin choices would also mean bandwidth (if you think MFGG runs out of bandwidth quickly now, wait until people are using two or three different versions of the site with different graphics ) , and besides that, I for one am not going to invest the time and effort into a skin JUST to do things like move the search button around.

Skins for the site isn't that great or useful of an idea. Not to mention, we don't need another one of those "new skin" topics again.

You know what would be better? An option to search in the options on the left instead of in each spot. You would go to "Search", which would be, say, under the Submissions button, then brings you to http://mfgg.net/search.php or something. I think that would rock.

So you're saying put it under its own category? But wouldn't putting it on the top of the page easier to access the search function, and therefore whatever sprites/games you want?

I like the idea of having the search at the top.
People can have whatever opinions they want, but no word is finally until RII is done with design. One person can't change everything.

Having search on the same page is just standard design for when you add search bars. MFGG, Deviant ART, even some browsers all have a search bar readily accessible from the main page or whatever.

Sorry, I still like the original idea better.
