make it when EX. object 1 overlaps object 2 while a button is pressed or holded object 2 sticks onto object 1? I need it for my game because a ghost has to overlap Mario and you have to press space to hold on then press it again to let go (or the same while holding) I need an answer ASAP! THANKS!

Set a Flag of the overlapped ghost to "on" when that happens.

Make a new Event that says when the ghost's afore mentioned flag is on, it's position is set to 0,0 from the Action Point of Mario. You might care to check where the Action Point (not the Hot Spot) is, and perhaps make Mario have a carrying animation.
