I know I've told a few of you before, but over the course of my three months that I was gone from MFGG, I was thinking of trying something different. I've had TGF for the longest time, and I've never really used it too much. So I decided to see if I could try to make a fangame.
One of my favorite Game Boy games (next to Pokemon, of course) was Super Mario Land 2. I realized there really aren't any high-profile SML2-themed games on the main site. So with the help of Shyguy's SML2 lib and that SML2 tilesheet, I put together three levels which I'm really proud of.
Granted, the engine is still a bit clunky, and it uses the TGF basic movement engine, so you can expect a lot of the same physics. I really don't like those minute TGF platforming glitches, and I'd love to know how to get around them. Regardless, comments and help would be really appreciated!
