have you played metroid prime 2? the bit with the portal and behind the portal is based on that. they can get home by another portal. and for metroid prime 2 fans: in the reminox battle you can see a light crystal in the background

It's not that he quit, he's out-of-commission for an unspecified amount of time. I haven't seen him on MFGG or iScribble in a long while.
