Not only am I entering this, but I have the engine/sprites done. Now I just have to add sound and the whole "presentation" thing.

Just clarifying first, how high is too high? The game I'm working on ends if you go underwater, so I dunno how that falls under the rules.

Eh...I guess as long as it's not REALLY high.

Like, not so high you're in the clouds, but somewhere about as high as the average 2-story house, maybe.

In my opinion, this competition makes only sense if "water" plays an essential role.

E.g. you are on a boat ON the surface of water, you are surfing ON the surface of water, you are waterskiing ON the surface of water.
But I think making water, over it a platform and you die if you fall of the platform is not enough water for this competition, since it takes place on land, actually.

Otherwise, everyone could come and say "I made a platformer. The water is 2 pixels under the platforms and plays no role at all, but it's there".

Really, this is a question of sense, but as usual, the last word is the Comp Creator's.
