But on the other hand not everyone has Photoshop to work with during the drawing competitions, should photoshop then be banned?

And I personally think gradients look awful on sprites.

Would take too long, and I think its rather obvious anyway.

My point is that a official list of Sprite Competition Rules doesn't seem to exist.

Wow. There are a lot of huge pixel arts in this topic.

So far I have this W.I.P. I have my usual health bar that I use. And will make plently more poses.This is my first shot at a PM character.

Good so far, except for some odd shading on the face, and the pink circle thingy is a bit flat.

There slightly updated my entry. A few more posses done. Next i will finish the arms out pose, then his cape covering him pose, and much more.

Give the hands a slightly thicker outline.

Is this any better? I'm trying to stick with the main style, where the outlines are thicker than the rest of the lines.

I like the staff, the diamond thingy looks really cool.

Its good, but the shading seems weird. plus its really small. Make more and it may turn out better. I actualy like it!

Never save it as a jpg in a sprite comp. Anyway, cape's too small, false colors, and it's sorta smushed.

It's a .bmp.....

not according to FF...

Fixed gem(made it circular), and made cape pose.
