Here is the first page of my senior project story book. In this shot Brandon has just got home from school and is excited to see on his calendar that today is the day the long awaited installment of his favorite book series “Travelers Tales” will be for sale in book stores nationwide.

First off, I want to point out how horribly off Brandon’s skin color turned out from what I envisioned him having. But that’s the only color I got to I’ve got to cope with it. And the atmosphere/poses/position of Brandon/setting/whatever you want to point it out as is probably the blandest in this shot than in the rest off the book. Just how a first page of a story of this genre should be, it keeps things calm before the action starts. Now the thought that a kid actually being interested in a book enough to want to save his own money to buy it is a rarity in this day and age but I don’t care. Chances are that if A2O becomes a success that Brandon and Jake will be the only ones in town who have even heard of it. I’m also not very proud of the coloring. It is good and all but I see others that are so much better. I need more practice or a different coloring tool/method.

When I finish the book completely I will have it bound and have a few copies given to a few people I know in real life (Family, Teachers, etc.) And as for selling the thing, if I do decide to do that I may want to redo at least the coloring of all the pages first. And I don’t know if I want to post all the pages either. Maybe if I redo the coloring as I said before and figure out how copyrighting stuff works.

If I ever get that program and figure out how to run it I just might consider it. Hopefully laziness won't get the better of me.

To be honest, it isn't that hard when doing minor adjustments.
