Should Toad star in his own game?

Mario has starred in quite a few games, Yoshi has starred in some, and Luigi has even starred in a few. And all of them have had guest appearances and sometimes were even playable characters on many games. But Toad was never the star of any game, and hasn't been a playable character in any game aside from Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, and Mario Strikers. But still, wouldn't Toad be a good character. For one, he is the master of all items. Two, he has very speedy legs. And three, Toad is always funny, which doesn't give a reason to make him star, but at least be a character. Having read this, don't you think Toad should star or at least play a major role in at least onr game made by Nintendo?

Toad isn't a main character, nor does he have anything special about him that seperates him from the other Toads. So he really doesn't deserve his own game. If anyone deserves his own game it's either Luigi (not another Luigi's Mansion) or Bowser.

I did. It was both fun and challenging, something today's games should take note of.

I've never played it, but it's actually pretty popular. Besides, even if it weren't, that doesn't change the fact that he starred in it.

He was a playable charactor in SMB2 and he was the main charactor in warios woods (which I liked).

Toad was playable in Super Mario Bros. 2. That's technically a starring role.

I started a topic that Luigi should star in a game a while ago, and the results ended up that Luigi should, but barely.
Wario's Woods was challenging, but it wasn't really that fun.
EDIT: The Super Mario Brothers Two thing is a good point though. I have it, and I forgot about it. And it is technically a starring role. Okay, so he's had a few sub-starring roles. But never THE starring role in a GREAT game.

Back then they were VERY limited on characters. Plus it's just an edit of Doki Doki Panic, and not an original game.

And I agree with Nnnk, Toad isn't very meaningful character.
Can't we just keep this in fan-games.

The fact that Wario's woods has had both a SNES and NES release as well as a Virtual Console release means that in theory, Toad has been the starring roles in more games than Princess Peach... which I would have thought would be a more important character.
