Does anyone have/know where I can find a simple yet good Super Mario Bros(NES) engine for Gamemaker 6.1?
By simple but good, I mean it has good collision and things.
I also want only the enemies from Super Mario Bros(NES), and only the moves from Super Mario Bros(NES), so most engines around the site don't help me with that...
And I suck at programing hard things,too.
So basicly, if anyone has an engine that has some good collision, and the enemies(plus bowser...)from Super Mairo Bros(NES), can you please help?
Thanks...

I once made a SMB engine. People liked it muchso, but I'm not planning on releasing it to the public. Clones...worthless clones will pop up everywhere.

Why not just take an engine and give it SMB sprites, eh?

Most engines don't have the enemies and some don't have the correct moves, or they have too many moves/enemies. I also suck at making good collision.
If I could do it myself, I don't think I would post this. I might have posted something else in it's place, though.

add the enemies yourself, I dont think nobody will like whatever you make if you dont put effort into it, if you are just gonna design levels then ask somebody who is making a game to be his level designer.
Anyway, I could help you program the enemy A.I, what enemies would you need?.

Alright for blooper do this:
Put the sprite (one sprite only) of him moving.
now create the object, call it whatever you want(blooper)
On the create event:
image_speed=0
image_single=0
alarm[0]=2
direction="none"
gravity=0
alarm[2]=30+random(60)

Alarm 0
put this on alarm 0:
if object_exists(Mario) and instance_find(Mario,0)
{
if x>view_left and x<view_left[0]+320
{if Mario.x<x direction="left"
else direction="right"}
else alarm[0]=2
}

PS: I use gm5 if you use gm6 change view_left for view_xview and change top_view for view_yview.

on alarm 1 put this:

if instance_find(Mario,0)
{
if Mario.x>x direction="right" else direction="left"
}

on alarm 2 put this:

if vspeed>=0
{
vspeed=-1
alarm[1]=2
}

if instance_find(Mario,0)
{
if Mario.y<y
{
alarm[2]=20+random(30)
}
else
{
alarm[2]=60+random(30)
}
}

on the step event put this:

if y=0
{
vspeed=0.01
}

if y<room_height-28
{
gravity=0.05
}
else
{
vspeed=-1
alarm[1]=2
}

if vspeed>6 vspeed=6

if vspeed<0 image_single=1
else
image_single=0

if direction="right" x+=1
else if direction="left" x-=1
else if direction="none" gravity=0.01

if vspeed>=0
{
direction="none"
}

then in the collision with fireball or hammer put the code that makes it destroy instance_destroy()
Helps?
I'm gonna go see if I can make a hammer bro A.I and if its works now.
