Hmm.... it seems like you got the IVs down wrong. Jirachi is "Mischevious", which means that its special attack IV is 31. You accidentally switched spatk with speed, which has an IV of 26.

.....dude, whoever gave you that Jirachi lied about its IVs. Without any EVs, its special attack is 17 at MAXIMUM at level 5. The jirachi I have has special attack of 20. also, its special defense is 16 MAXIMUM at level 5, and the jirachi I have has special defense of 19.

Your "friend" gave it additional EVs to make its IVs look impressive, when it's probably crap. basically, you've been scammed

Serebii doesn't tell you when the IVs are invalid. Also, if you use psypokes calculator, you can see the highest stat for hp/attack/def/etc the pokemon can have at that level

My Jirachi's special attack and special defense stats are HIGHER than what they're supposed to be. :/

I told you..... serebii would read invalid IVs as if they were flawless (31). Dude, just admit it, the jirachi you have is not as good as you think

did you try to use the EV reducing berries? >> try it on special attack/special defense
