Usually I wouldn't make a topic for a stand-alone article, but this really does answer loads of questions as to why Sega have been flopping over the years:

Dear Lord in heaven above...

This explains everything. Well, I never knew about Sammy before, but I hate them now. If there was only some way that another company could buy them out of Sammy. By "another company" I mean one that actually knows what Sega really is (or was) about and would let them take care of themselves for the most part *coughNintendocough*. However, this will never happen, if it's even legitimately possible. Now that Sega and Sammy have been merged for some time, is it even possible to separate them?

Edit: Better yet, if someone could just buy Sega Sammy as a whole, then Sammy at least wouldn't be able to tell Sega what to do anymore with a little restructuring.
