Ultra-awesome! I'm somewhat experienced with Blitz Basic 3D, but not up to this level. Pretty good job, sindii! You even made the Mario mesh and animations look really similar to the real thing biggrin.gif

i don't think it has anything to do with blitz3d, just coding in general, that's why i'll move it over to blitzmax when the time is ready.

Stuff like trampolines, ladders, poles, ropes etc will be added, not just yet

The Mario model is from Mario Kart Double Dash, but sindii made it animate and everything. It looks a lot better now.

Well, your applications are bounded to the limits of the Blitz3D engine, that's why it's so impressive :P. Anyway, a BlitzMax port would be pretty cool indeed, cross platform game creation is always a bonus (specially for Linux and Mac users), and the language itself is much more solid and powerful, plus there's the MiniB3D lib, wich you can fully modify if you want to add fancy and cool stuff without needing to hack the D3D DC with DLLs

Woah there, buddy. That's more then enough exclamation marks for today. Anyways, I am very excited for the full version. If you do keep an engine like this in the final game, please make a pointer of some sort so we know where they'll fall. (Maybe a mini-game where blocks fall when you hit a switch and you have to climb a tower with them or something.)

This is more polished than some of the things Nintendo made o_O
Really, really well made.
If you ever end up finishing this game making utility thing, you should design it in a certain way so as to keep n00bs from abusing it.
You know, needing coding knowledge. Lots of coding knowledge. Basically "Clone-B-Gone".
