yep, totally, i scrapped it and deleted the source....









no only kiddin, im still working on it and have made it much better ie much easier to use and create custom stuff etc, will be working on editors and such next :-)

All sorts of cool stuff is in, just getting enough time to work on it is hard plus i just broke my typing hand and wrist!

ps no demos in the immediate future and posts, not until i get a webpage up.

Ouch, and I have a question: Are you going to add SMB2-item pulling and doors if you're going to make an editor? Because I would love to make a 3D SMB2 sets of maps.

Well, the goal of the engine is to allow easy customization so everyone can actually create new objects and actions, so... DIY when it's out.

Yep, lets keep our fingers crossed :-)

- new material system with collision settings ie friction, bounce. Impact sounds ie coin to grass, coin to wood etc
-Much improved controls with analogue support.

i already plan on doing it, already done a few tests where you can pick items up.
The whole reason im using full on physics is so everything can be interactive. Pull a sign out of the ground and sling it..sounds good to me :-)


I also have opening routines done for doors( buggy) and chests, which works great with mario standing perfectly in front and lifting the chest lid open.

hey bro hey bro, if you're into physics type games you should definitely check out www.fun-motion.com, they have a lot of good stuff there. and the engine is awesome, i stacked a bunch of bricks on top of eachother and jumped off the top then knocked them over, haha...

sometimes it is also fun to imagine that it is christmastime and mario is being buried in presents.

i have been trying that, its still buggy but the possibilites are cool.
I put mushrooms on the end of the seesaw and jump on the other side to send em flying.
Alot of stuff im doing is using work arounds to issues with physics engines and character controllers so alot still needs to be done on the character engine side.
