Interestingly enough, this don't happen with Baby Luigi.
This sucks mainly because it makes harder for us to make sprites or fangames, when you want to put them inside of it. So, most of times, people often makes the two ways in the spritesheets, what i think it's unnecessary.
By the way, witch ones do you consider the right one, the in-game sprite/models or the artworks? |
