Okay kid, I'm sorry but...
The shading on the Pokéball is very ugly and sloppy. The words "GO!" are also sloppy and bad. The yellow effect to the right of the ball is okay, but the left one is bad.

Meh...I feel like being nice on critisism tonight.

Ok hopefully this will help you out.

First of all the Pokeball's shading looks like it was slapped together.

And doesn't really show their metallic texture, give it some highlights, and some more dithering. And mabye some ambient lighting.
Also the circle is all jagged in places, I would suggest fixing the areas where the lines look sloppy and thicker then the other parts of this piece.

And the circle at the center of the pokeball isn't circular like it should be.

Also If I were you, fix up or redo the text that says "GO!" because right now it seems they were rushed with a brush tool, I would use the line tool if I were you, then add some AA to the text for that smooth look.

And the background is a bit boring to look at, perhaps making a checkerboard or any other kind of design of background will make the avatar more interesting to look at.

But hey keep up the work, you will eventually get better with time.
