Minigame Comp #26 - TOP 5 VOTING OVER

I don't know if this is supposed to happen, but sometimes if you eat a goomba and stick out your tounge, it will have a goomba stuck on it until you eat another one.

I'm entering, and i already have an idea, a minigame with a big weird level =D

Just a head's up: I've been screwing around with a pretty interesting rhythm engine, and if I can work out a few kinks, I'll have an entry done for you guys in a week or two.

Not as good as I would have hoped for, but still a pretty cool lookin comp, I'll actually try to finish an entry on time instead of just posting a demo then forgetting about it, like last time.

From those SShots, I would assume your game includes, swinging, pushing objects, and running on slopes? Those 3 things in a game=win

I think this will be my first minigame entry. I was waiting for something easier to think, like Yoshi, Peach or any other character.

As much as I was looking forward to this comp, well... I don't know. When I saw yoshi I thought "awesome! an easy one! I'll make a great game!" But alas... I can't think of anything!

I have an idea, I hope it'll work. I want a badge.

Well, the swinging maybe will be something like the swinging of the minigame "flippin' out" from mario party advance.

So I'm thinking some kind of paper baby yoshi game... don't know though

Just one question, can i do something like a select characther screen with Yoshi characters or Yoshi MUST BE THE ONLY ONE PLAYABLE CHARACTER of the game?

So I'd say no, but it's up to Grant...

I have to say I think the entries should only have Yoshi as a playable character, and no other characters (though different-colored Yoshis are OK).

Not even Birdo? It's just like the case of Mario / Luigi. Something like the "second player" character.

Sorry, but I still think it should be just Yoshi. The comp is very broad in theme as it is.
