I wouldn't be scared, she was probably just trying to get attention.
And if she was being serious, you were probably on it for some reason. Weird quiet kids is not a very nice term, so if you've said that to any of your friends, like, "lol look at dat weird quiet girl" then that's probably the reason.

I was gonna make a comment on that line as well, but you beat me to it Quicky-la.

That one word made me laugh really really hard.


But in all seriousness, hope she really is just a "weird quiet kid", because I don't know you much but having people die sucks ass.

On one hand, I sympathise with the kid, since it was obiviously at her breaking point, yet on the other hand, that doesn't excuse her actions.

Not gonna help.

In that case he should buy an entire bulletproof suit, with bulletproof helmet and everything.

There's often no, or little reason behind a list of people you want to KILL.

I guess what I didn't understand about your post was whether you were being sarcastic or not.

Also I wasn't sure why you quoted me, since I didn't say anything about whether she had "reasons" or not. I just thought she should get worse punishment, because whatever her motivations, she did a terrible thing by threatening that.

Well, I guess you think differently from me then. :X I can't sympathize in any way for that pathetic excuse for a human being. What she did was so despicable - even if she didn't really plan to kill those people, making a very real-sounding threat and causing people to fear for their lives is still really bad - that I cannot help but loathe her, even though I don't personally have anything to do with her. (Of course, I would feel this way a lot more strongly if someone close to me had been on the list.)

Eh, I don't personally don't know the person. So I don't say such things.

Could've been beat up by parents, had a ****ty childhood and been generally harassed in school for being "Different".

I don't care about her sh***y childhood, she still was going to kill me... and even if she wasn't going to carry her plan out, she still wanted to kill me!

Dude, that wouldn't matter. What she did was wrong no matter what. Anything that would have happened to her previously would have been no excuse for doing a terrible thing like that to others who hadn't harmed her. That sort of action is just objectively evil, and she was the one who deliberately chose to do it. It can't be justified by any means.

but that would be bad, nobody cares why she got put in prison, its horrible that a little girl is put in prison! No little girl that could make it in life should be put in prison. There's no need for such a horrible thing to happen!

There's a big difference between justifying somebody's actions and explaining them. All too often when something like this happens, people want to treat it as if only black and white exist so they can conveniently ignore the nasty grey fact that sometimes bad people are made bad and perhaps can't be entirely blamed for their disposition.

What I was mainly trying to get across is that in my opinion she shouldn't be sympathized with, and that in my opinion people should be disgusted and horrified by what she did instead. Punishment is a somewhat different matter. Naturally if she were mentally unstable she ought to get a lighter punishment than she would otherwise. I still think that mere expulsion is too light, however, given the gravity of the offense, as well as the fact that she has made herself either be or strongly appear to be a threat to society.

Also, your referring to her as "a little girl" is misleading. She isn't just any little girl, not by a long shot. (Unless you were being sarcastic in that part of your post, though I assumed you weren't because I didn't think people would be sarcastic in one half of a post and be not sarcastic in the other, while seeming to be saying the same opinion in both halves.)

@Captain Jeff: If it were merely a matter of disposition, things would be different. When someone commits something so patently unjust, however, outrage is the proper response, and punitive measures should be taken. It was the girl's choice to threaten murder, even if her disposition wasn't all her own fault.
