New Versus Old Games

Well, nothing beats an original, but I almost peed on myself when I saw that re-make of Resident Evil! I had no idea, and I it almost made me change my mind!

Metroid: Zero Mission was an okay remake, but I think I would have preferred to see the game remade completely, including the map layout. And Nintendo should have dropped the "you can beat it in two hours" crap like Retro did with the Prime games, that was fine in the days when they didn't really have the resources to make really long games, but now it's no excuse.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is also an okay remake, it's fine for anyone who's never played the original on PS1 but I still prefer that version to the remake, mostly because of presentation (most of the original's music was changed, character models are ugly, cutscenes are unnecessarily dragged out because of huge random pauses added into dialogue and over-exaggerated fight scenes, etc).
