PM2: TTYD Pit of 100 Trials

I don't have the game anymore (long story), and I didn't complete the Pit of 100 Trials while I had it.

only problem is because i only had 5 hp (because i'm hardcore) each hit would be quite a problem

I always beat it before starting a new game.

Bonetail isn't hard (at all) IMO

Ps. I'm currently playing through the game with HP ONLY style.

lower your hp to 5 and equip lots of power rushes and similar badges

it is the epitome of hardcore i can do like 30 damage with a non-action commanded regular jump.

Not entirely true for me. But that's only because I combine that with an All-or-Nothing. So I have to Action Command it, otherwise, it's worthless.

Regardless, I beat it even without that kind of setup.

That makes the game WAAAYYY too easy and boring.

Considering he only has 5HP, that's not too easy.

I can imagine it's quite challenging, having to succesfully perform action commands to take as little damage as possible.

Actually, it is. 'Cause that's only PART of the setup.

The other part includes at least 5 or more Close Calls, some Last Stands, and, depending on BP remaining, both Pretty Lucky and Lucky Day badges.

Which means you hit for tons of damage, and the enemies misses you with what appears to be every single attack.

But if they don't miss?

That's why the Last Stand badges: they end up halving the HP until all attacks end up doing 1 point of damage.

Plus, if you have enough Close Calls, the only way ANY attack will hit Mario, is if it's a multi-hit attack.

Power Bounce with danger Mario technique does like +100 damage and takes out any boss in a single turn. If not, use boo sheet with partner to avoid damage.

And to normal enemies: Multi Bounce = Ultimate destruction.

I haven't beat it. I must be only one here who has not beat the Pit. ****.

I haven´t beat it yet ...
I was 96 and 5 white Wizzerds killed me ! (I got a Poison Mushroom - Bingo in Battle while Mario had around 15 KP !)

Only way I could beat final boss was with return postage, so I had to beat it...

Zap tap has the same effect. You know.

I could have beat it with my level 40 probably, but my game got erased and I'm only a level 21 now. Haven't felt like playing it as much as I used to.

I know the pit has an useless prize and the Star Points earned but it's fun going down there and beating Bonetail.

P.S. I went there twice. The first time I lost so badly. The second time was a piece of cake.
