Hello, I was wondering. I am making a game, and I have this mario episode dvd called Mario's Movie Maddness. I am trying to make it so when you beat the game with 100%, it will do something special. I had an idea- I could make it so It plays one of the episodes. But I'd have to extract them from the dvd somehow. Does anyone know how? smile.gif

Doesn't that violate the copyright of the DVD?

I think its only your copy, and if you don't redistribute it, but I don't know.

Try and read those FBI warnings.

Well, yes, you could copy it for yourself, but the message at the top seems they want to make a game and distribute it. Anyways, it will make the game file very huge and long to load. (But, if you do it anywans, and you are uploading a huge file, you may use BitTorrent. BitTorrent is good for downloading very huge files.)

Due to the nature of this I am NOT to linking to any programs mentioned.

"DVD decrypter"
This will Break the encryptions on the DVD and place it in a folder or in ISO format.

"DVD shrink"
This is actually for burning ISO's to disc, however it will help in finding the episodes you want,

"Ripit4me"
If you cant extract the disc with DVD decrypter, this will find the encryptions and drive DVD decrypter for you.
However, ISO mode is not recommended with this.

"FixVTS"
Simple repair tool.
Ripit4me creates some minor errors.
this makes the resulting files readable in DVD shrink.
Automatically launched with Ripit4me.

"Nerovision Express"
the movie maker will let you convert VOB's into AVI.
Simple.

Your on your own finding these though.

Don't get yourself in trouble,
