Yoshi Patrol, For the minigame comp

Arrow keys move, mouse aims, left click fires, right click uses power-up attack.

Features Fire Flower and Ice Flower.
If you right-click and you have a Fire Flower, all eggs on screen will explode.
If you have an Ice Flower, all eggs on screen will explode in ice and all enemies hit with said explosion will freeze and fly into the air. Any enemies they hit will be defeated.

Enemies include Goonies, which do nothing to hurt you but you can just shoot them down anyways. Paratroppas, which will drop Bob-Ombs on you. You can hit the Bob-Ombs to explode them in mid-air to hit more enemies. The last, and toughest enemies are Boo Guys, who will sit on a purple platform and rapidly drop missiles. You can't harm them, so just avoid the bombs.

You start with 3 hits but you can collect mushrooms for up to six health.

Highscore of 12,000 so far.

It's quite fun and pretty well-polished, but one rather notable problem is that things get screwed up when I click the mouse outside the game window by accident and the window becomes inactive. Also I think a background would have been a nice thing to have.

Yes, I understand that you don't want to update it.

Yeah I forgot to mention that F4 to fullscreen helps.

And I tried adding some background but then because of the large amount of things that happened at that part of development(Before I toned things down) it got really hectic and hard to see things.

I might see what I can do now, though.

It's a fun game and F4 really does help a lot. The only thing is, you can't run for quite a long time when you throw an egg. It makes the game quite a bit harder.

But this was intentional, probably.

The dealy after egg-throwing was deliberate, and doesn't seem like a long time to me.

Great game. A combo system would be nice.

I have played the Yoshi Patrol. This game is good.

i got a score of 55200. i just stayed stopped and shooting.
but, nice game. It does a movement "fell" after some time playing.

Very nice game, though I'm not fond of the music. Something more Yoshi-ish would probably be better. The gamplay itslef is a lot of fun!

Game is good, but shouldn't the "bomb" effect not hurt yoshi?

Really? I thought the music worked quite well. I can't think of anything else that would work really.

I was too lazy to create another object for the egg's explosion.

Could use a little more ironing to become perfect.

A title screen and story would be nice. That isn't too much to ask, is it?

And why would you need a story? Isn't the game itself enough?

It's the crying sound the penguins make in SM64

WEll really it's the only song that I thought would fit. If you can link me to a better one I'd be more then happy to change it.
