If Metal Gear manages to squeeze in another character, there's no doubt in my mind it'd probably be Grey Fox.

The two best updates. EVER. That Hammer Bro. is just incredible, it's just a shame Samurai Goro is not playable. But at least he's in the game, so it's ok!

EDIT: If Assist Trophies were not invincible, it would be cool to Kirby be able to copy their abilities.

Now, imagine if you could set what assists can come out. Like, if you only want hammer bros. to come out ever. Same goes with pokeballs.

Okay, NOW imagine being able to do that, AND Metal Gear being an assist. Setting it on high.

Though they'd have to set it to like you can only set them once you've seen them.

Theres only 3 characters I want to see as ATs.

-Kracko
-Giant Bulorb
-and Chain Chomp

-Kracko could zap people like he did in Kirby Air Ride during the Top ride races.

The Giant Bulorb from Pikmin would caus havoc the same with the Chain Chomp.

10 bucks if Sonic gets in Brawl (Still hate the idea <.<) That Tails will be an Assist.

Kracko would be freaking winner.

Oh and people like Balloon Fighter, Eggplant Wizard and Wario Ware characters would fight better as assists than real characters.

Ohhhoh boy! Just imagine the possibilities! Here's some ideas:


Mario series:

Chaim-Chomp: Yeh, like they said.

Kamek: He could appear around 7 times in random spots inthe stages, shooting spells in the others characthers.

Geno: The so awaited character is not going to be playable...so he could use his SMRPG attacks agains the enemies!


Yoshi Series:

Yoshi herd: There's THE Yoshi. But there's also others Yoshis. They would come running from one side to another of the screen.


Wario Series:

Jimmy, Mona, 9-Volts, Orbulon, Dr. Crygor, Ashley and everyone else.


Metroid Series:

Metroid: Send these lil' cute babies to suck the brain from the others characthers! They would appear one for each opponent.

Ridley: If he is not going to be a playable character, them he could appear as an AT, doing things like he do in-game.


Pokémon Series:

Major Gym Leaders(and Elite Four): While the Pokémons are inside the pokéballs, the trainer would give a help as ATs. Each trainer would use one Pokémon that he has in the real game.

Main Trainers: Ash, Gold/Kris, Brendan/May, Red, Wes, Michael and Lucas/Dawn would use their starter Pokémons against the AT user's opponents!


Woof! I'm out of ideas now.

Skull Kid from (and with) Majora's mask could come out and like... temporarily turn the other players into miscellaneous objects. Gives the lone player a chance to kick the **** out of them.

Perhaps if Diddy Kong makes it as an AT, he could toss around a lot of those banana peels. Want him playable though, please.

Can't think of things besides what has already been said. Agh, this game is looking awesome. 8D

Oh, yes, i was thinking on him. But i think he would be better if he used that freaky weapon he used in OoT. And yes, playable Diddy plz.

It's been confirmed that there will be no anime only characters. If trainers DID appear, they'd be Red and Blue as opposed to Ash and Gary, etc.


And this reminds me of when everyone was debating over who would be playable. Now everyone's debating over who will be ATs. Heh.

Oh, well. I thinked the first character in the Pokeomn series (the Red, Blue and Yellow versions) were Ash...

Ash was a name you could choose. He wasn't the anime character though.

Along the gym trainer lines, it would be neat if one of the assists, was say, a team rocket or team galactic blimp rising up from behind the battlefield, and unleasing literally a wall of pokeballs onto the stage, letting loose tons of pokemon that would just destroy ****

Fricking amazing! I personally am glad Goro is an assist, since I'm personally underwhelmed by him. Now if Geno or Fawful (FAwful, oh my gosh, PLEASE) become assist characters, I'll die happy. with 50 dollars less in my income when I BUY this game!!!

That assist trophie is gonna be sweet!

I love the assist trophies idea, though I hope it doesn't lower the chances of more major characters being playable (Diddy and King Dedede, to be specific).

I'd love to see the Koopalings as ATs, but that's probably hoping for too much...

EDIT: And yes, Fawful as one would be cool, since it'd be the closest thing we'll get to a 3D appearance of him ever.

Well, it's more of a possibility that some characters people wanted to see in this game are more likely to become an AT, rather than Newcomers/Playable Characters.

A cool AT would be an Arwing, but they probably have that in the StarFox level already.
Maybe a dinosaur from Dinosaur Planet? Like the Red Eye King? Imagine a giant T-rex running around the stage chasing people to eat them or something. That would be FRIGGIN AWESOME.
They should use some stuff from that game, that was a pretty decent game and had some great ideas.
