This is a bit of a non sequitur, but after having played Mario Kart DS for the past several days and having seen R.O.B. in the Subspace Emissary clip from whenever, I really wish he were a playable character (even though I can't imagine what his attacks would be, or even how he'd move).

The detail on that peanut is awesome.

It's great that Diddy has major abilities right out of DK64 (one of the greatest games of all time IMO).

IDEAS AHOY

Grab: Grabs foe, then spins. If one spins the control pad/nunchuk/analog, R.O.B will swing the grabbed foe. ie if you spin a half circle, R.O.N will turn around and throw. The more spins, the faster and further away the grabbed foe will go.

<B>: R.O.B will spin so "it" is facing away or to use (depend if "it"s looking left or right) and pull out a "Stack Up" block. Said block will be thrown like a frisbee. If B>/< is held, R.O.B will throw out Stack Up blocks at a shockingingly fast rate. When they hit the ground, they can be picked up and thrown like an item. Smashing the Analog to throw will replicate how R.O.B threw it, even if R.O.B didn't pick it up and throw it.

B\/: Gyro spin. Think Mario Bro. tornado thingiomajigger, but a spinner will appear, similiar to a red shell and chase foes. It cn be damaged and if it takes 50% damage, it will turn to debris. Hitting it when it's going towards you will make it stay on the spot. If you hit it when it's going away from you, it'll go faster. If it stops spinning or hits a wall it will fall off the screen

A smash: He'll put his arms together and quickly spin, his arms smashing into the foe.

Final Smash: R.O.B will turn humungus, and will go behind the stage. It will grab fighters and smash them, either by throwing them or putting his arms together to "clap" them.

How he'll move: Short hops.

Taunt: He'll do the Robot/dance like a robot quickly.

I just noticed, in yesterday's update, the music sounds a little different... could this mean orchastrated music in the final product?!?

Wow, wasn't sure how I'd feel about Diddy ingame but he's looking pretty damn spiffy and fresh.
