I'm pretty sure we saw the cape in the first Trailer.

O well....so they must have replaced Mario's down-a.

How the hell did I know they were going to throw FLUDD into this game somewhere?

Oh yeah, and the Pokemon stage looks awesome, too. I can only imagine what the Electric transformation is going to look like.

Super Mario Sunshine was an ok game at best...I prefer 64 and 64DS, so my view of FLUDD being in this game is somewhat skewed...I don't like it...I'm glad they kept the tornado in somewhwere, and as useless as the cape was I kinda liked it because it was a tie to one of the greatest Mario games ever.

Ugh..hopefully the crappyness thats bound to be this attack won't make Mario any less balanced than he was before.

With the Gamecube controller prespective:

Maybe you can hold down Z and press down+b for the Mario Tornado. Who knows. :|

So, if Luigi gets is vacuum 3000 thing I'm guess it'll bring people closer since, Fludd sends people away.

I think FLUDD is an item, and Mario uses it the same way he would use Mario Tornado.
Stage is cool too.

So with Mario you press V+B to use the FLUDD instead of A like a normal item? That doesn't make any sense. Plus, it's not an item.

No, I think all moves should hurt all characters the same.

I'm not reading the whole previous three pages but I'm assuming there are a multitude of silly posts like "Oh Mario will never use the Mario Tornado now" and "Maybe Mario can drop the Fludd like Wario's bike" and other things

Now, as the update shows:

-The attack is performed by charging it and then blasting straight forward. It's not the same as the Mario Tornado.

-THe attack knocks enemies back but does no damage, pretty much the exact opposite of Fox's Blaster.

-His Mario Tornado is now an A attack. Judging by the fact he executes the attack in midair during the second trailer, it's an Air attack, unless it was originally his Down+B at that time and they moved it recently which I doubt for some reason

-The update shows they aren't affraid to replace/move Special moves. So yeah it's possible Luigi will get the Poltergust. Perhaps the opposite of Mario's Fludd (pulls opponents in maybe?), just a guess.

So awesome. A unique move, can't have too many of those. Plus it's the Fludd

The only reason I don't think Mario Tornado is an A attack is because he actually mentioned Mario Tornado, and seemed to make a big deal out of the fact it's still there.

I was thinking that Luigi's Poltergust, if it got in at all, would pull Luigi closer to an enemy, rather than the other way around. After all, pulling an opponant in isn't much use unless you're grabbing him, too...

BTW, F.L.U.D.D. is cool, so yeah... ...And it should decrease Charizard's "stamina"...

Maybe Luig'is Poltergust could work like Kirby's Standart B or DK's grab, so he keep the enemies inside the vacuum cleaner for a short period of time(maybe while damaging then).

AND/OR

It could work like Bowser's >+B, which grabs and hurts the opponent, but in a different way, rather than the standart, Z/R+A grab.


EDIT: And hey! They should replace that ****ING CAPE with FLUDD! After all, he has almost the same meaning: send opponents/projectiles back without actually damaging them!

SO THEY COULD KEEP MARIO TORNADO INTACT!
