Super Smash Bros Brawl NEWS!

To contribute something to the discussion:

1) The CAPE is useful, period. If anyone never uses it, this person has a different technique or is NEVER attacked by projectile weapons. But for the majority of people, the cape IS useful.

2) If Luigi won't be in this game, (nearly) everyone's gonna be pissed and Nintendo knows that. Plus, Luigi's getting the chance to use his Poltergust which would make him even more unique to Mario than in the previous games.
Plus, it has been confirmed that the original 12 Smash Fighters will return.

3) The Mario Tornado will most probably replace the old down-A-midair attack, that was pretty much the same as the Mario Tornado, just without the arms extended.
It cleary says on the site that it is a NORMAL (as opposed to SPECIAL) attack. Special = B, Normal = A.

you know...they haven't updated with music in awhile...I bet it's gonna be a music update...I predict something about the Brawl music and probably a poke'mon song

TRIPLE UPDATE, GUYS.


All about music and if you know me, you know I love music and by all means: I favor this update!

Two grand songs(the main theme which sounds like the trailer them and of course the Pokemon Stadium theme) both sound heavenly awesome and of course: I think the "my music" is quite a interesting addition!

I was doubting this update before checking it, because a double update is hard to top.

Omfg, My Music is amazing. I even see the NSMB theme up in the hizzy.I love collecting the trophies that randombly appeared in the Adventure Mode of Melee. In Brawl, collecting CDs'll be more useful.

This is an awesome update. Also, from what I can understand, this update lets you listen to a different select of music per level, kinda like the holding L or R cheat for Melee only not a cheat? If so, this is kinda cool I guess. But we can come across spome ideas for levels here too, I hope the names of the song are from actual levels of the game, because I want to see what the Dark World and mountain / forest look like.

They didn't really do too much to change the Gym theme.
My Music is incredible.
Brawl theme I can't comment on because we've already knew about it.

I'm just worried about the NSMB music in the Delfino Plaza playlist, because if so, there's no NSMB stage. But if that's an "universal" playlist (that you can choose any Mario music for any mario stage, like, for example, the Delfino Plaza music to the NSMB stage), so it's ok.


Also, Luigi can get even more different than Mario. he was plenty different than him in Melee, and i bet the Poltergust and otehrs attacks will make him unique.
Maybe Luigi will be revealed soon, because everyone's now talking about him because Mario's FLUDD, but i don't know, there's too many Mario characters, and, if he will be unlockble, so he's not even going to be revealed.

EDIT: Oh yes! That means the Sound Test will be unlocked from the start!

I hope there'll be two versions of each of the songs, one of the original tune and one of the brawl remix.

I wouldn't want to be stuck with just the NES version of the SMB theme.

Hell yes! After all, i like the intact NSMB theme, but i would like to see how they would came up with a remix.
