| QUOTE (DR. Demon Lizardman @ Dec 7 2007, 08:26 PM) | | Like the begaiining is different for some characters but the corss together with the main storyline right? |
No, what I mean is, from what I've seen of the E for All Subspace videos, you simply play right through, with choices that you can make that would either change the plot, or in the least, change which characters you unlock first. That is to say, you get one story starring everyone. It seemed to start with Mario and Kirby, then Mario blasts away and Kirby fights Petey, then you rescue a princess and(at least if you rescue Peach) you fly away, team up with her for a while, then it cuts away to Mario who meets up with Pit, then it looks like it eventually goes to DK, and so on. From what the page said, it looks like you'll be able to replay levels with whoever you've unlocked in the story, and presumably you should be able to replay the story to go the other path, but it's all one adventure, not replaying the same thing as each character like the SSBM Adventure Mode.

Some hope?
| QUOTE (Aussie Nintendo) | December 08, 2007 - Waves of worry were initiated when Nintendo released its early 2008 first- and third-party games schedule for Europe yesterday, thanks to the omission of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the subsequent revelation that it "is currently not planned for a release in Q1 or Q2 next year."
The company has now attempted to clear things up by issuing another statement, which said, "The Nintendo 1st & 3rd party Software lineup release schedule which was distributed by Nintendo on Thursday 6th December confirmed launch dates for Nintendo titles launching in Q1 2008.
"Nintendo also included some titles which were fixed for release beyond Q1 2008 such as Mario Kart Wii," it reassuringly continued. "All Nintendo software titles launching in Q2 2008 have not been finalised or confirmed to date."
As suspected, the lack of a listing for Smash Bros. simply reflects that Nintendo's yet to - as it said - finalise the game's date, rather than the confirmation of a definite delay of the highly anticipated title.
"Nintendo will communicate on all software titles launching in Q2 2008 for Wii and Nintendo DS at a later date," the statement concluded. |
Also, it's been announced that Brawl in Europe will be released July 2008.

So basically, Australia might be getting Brawl earlier then Europe?
And damn, July? I hope Nintendo can whip up some spiffy extras so they don't feel so neglected.
