That would be an awesome feature to have in Brawl.

It would be obvious that a restriction against Mew and Celebi appearing at your choice would have to be placed since they drop collectibles.

I just realized how Mew/Celebi would work into the Pokemon Switch idea, they'd just work the same as other non-switchable 'items' from Melee, like Octorocks, that don't appear on Item Switch, but still come out very rarely, even if you set Pokeballs to just Bonsly. That, or it only appears if all Pokemon are on.

I think it's supposed to be the starting roster. If this is the entire roster I would be pissed. Then I'd get over it because it's still Brawl.

Except Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Boxing Day aren't Japanese federal or religious holidays, so don't expect anything mega huge on those days.

Mario games are made in Japan, yet only in Super Paper Mario did we see anything Eastern, in the form of King Sammer's Kingdom.

I don't think where the game is made is going to affect if they celebrate Christmas with a Special theme or not.

You assumed we were going to get cool updates for the 24th through the 26th.

I meant to say that it could go either way, because a holiday typically hyped or celebrated in Western culture isn't going to affect whether we get an interesting update or not, as men of Eastern culture are the ones making this game.

The fact that we got Saki on Thanksgiving and The Summit on Halloween were just happy coincidences. We COULD get interesting updates around Christmas, but on the same note, we're just as likely to get something as dry as "How to Jump".

A big chunk of the world celebrates christmas, so I'm pretty sure Sakurai post something special, if he personally celebrates it or not.

But I'm not to sure about boxing day since I don't even know what that is.
