Does anyone remember the LoZ:MC storyline?

I need someone to fill me in on the beginning of the storyline for the Minish Cap. All I need is what happened at the Minish Fair and how Vaati slayed the kingdom.

The biggining was when Link was going to the competition thing with the four sword, and then Vaati comes in and err...breaks the sword? And turns zelda into stone and kills(?) the king.

After the opening narration of the legend ( The Picori give a familiar hero the Picori Blade to slay evil), Zelda comes and takes Link to the Picori Festival. His grandpa gives him a sword to take to the minister, which will be given to the winner of the swordfighting competition. After getting the shield Zelda and Link go north to the castle, and gives the minister the sword. Later the king announces the winner of the competition, Vaati, to claim the Picori Blade. He opens the chest it was on and monsters come flying out. Vaati senses Zelda's aura is not normal (later explained in the game) and turns her to stone. Link is knocked out from the blast, and Vaati teleports to find the power he wants. Vaati had broken the Picori Blade, which could turn Zelda back to normal. Link awakes in the castle and the king tells him to go seek the Picori since he is still a child, and can see them. They will be able to repair it, and thus the game begins.
