The Ex, Movie Munchie #8|86

I'm disappointed. As you can see, this film had a fantastic cast. A relatively good idea. And yet, the film was bad.
Maybe it's the fact that the actors had **** to work with? Because I'm going to go with that. The story moves so fast, is full of so many holes and just plain unoriginal it's just not worth watching. I have to say I'm disappointed with Braff. He didn't do a bad job, he just wasn't used to his potential. Bateman was decent but also somewhat bland. None of his scenes stand out and his overall preformance was rather mediocre. The writing was poor and predictible, and what few surprises the movie held were quick and short lived.
I guess there is nothing really good about this movie. The actors try their best to make it work but just can't pull it off. A huge shame.

Wow, I saw this and didn't think it was that bad. Sure, it's cliche, but it had its moments.

And I think you have the quote wrong. Doesn't the doctor say his name is Hakeem?

Yeah I just couldn't remember it.

I didn't see it, I just found it very boring looking, and very cliched.
