As far as the KD3 edit, it's not. The shoes were based off of the GBA kirby sprites. The arms were based off of...well nothing really, and the shading was based off of the KD3 sprites.

The only thing that really makes it look like KD3 sprites is the shading, anyway.

And I disagree with your opinion on the shoes, but eh...
