SPSMBLib, BIG thanks to Joe Dixon

Ever wondered how you could rip sprites from fangames? I did. SO I tested this ripping possibly the best graphics I have ever seen. Remember, Give credit to me AND Joe Dixon. He made the graphics, I just ripped.

I actually thought people would hate this, until I saw your topic.

I hate libs.

Why?

Agreed. I wish I knew what was in it, though. It sounds pretty cool.

Even if you give credit, you are still taking someone elses work.

Their's no reason to hate libs, they are commonly sheets sorted into usefull and fully animated objects that save a developer time, i think the only reason you hate them is because you can't see what's in them.

Nah, the common arguement is that people want it in sheet form as well. Which is damn stupid considering the amount of sheets compared to libs. If anything there should be more libs made from sheets.

And I'm unsure about whether this can get through, since technically someone else made these sprites for use in their game, not for use by the public.

Check out Tony's libs on the main site. He included .exe programs that demonstrated how his sprites work. (He also included sprites sheets too, as did a few other zipped libs... maybe we could update the sprite sorter for THAT information.)

Yeah, if people say they want my lib in sprite sheet form, i'll tell em "It's on the site"

True, but we rip Nintendo's Graphics without their permission, right?
