Playable games at "new" E3, Some surprises

It's the MegaMan X of the MMBN series.

Like Megaman X is in the future of the original Megaman games, Megaman Starforce is in the future of the Megaman Battle Network games.

I've actually like the Megaman Battle Network series until they removed the auto-healing from battles and started tweaking the battle system up. I still have my original and am loving it.

Will someone please just let this franchise die?

I noticed Midway and remembered me beloved Hydro Thunder.

Lots? There are actually only two Megaman games when you think about it.

It's Disney, they love milking their franchises for what they're worth.

Nope, MoH: Vanguard was for the Wii.

But it kinda sucked, so yeah.

Capcom needs to stop extending the Mega Man universe and just give us Mega Man 9 already.

I hope they announce the new Zelda game this year, it seems on time. Wind Waker came out 2003, and TP was announced 2004. I hope it's the same this year, but then again TP came out later 2006 (I think late atleast), so Nintendo might not be ready. I'm really anxious to see what they do with the series with the new controls. I hope that they don't use the Wii controls to milk the series, like making a ****ty mini game compilation or Four Swords spin off. A full fledged game with next gen graphics (By Wii standards atleast) and controls please. I have little doubt, but you never know. Hey, if they're not making Mario Galaxy gimmicky, a franchise as big as Zelda won't fall down that road right?

Needs More Brawl IMO.

Another year, another E3, another month of holding out for a surprise Chrono sequel annoucement.

I think about five years ago I developed a bad case of "Linus and the great pumpkin" syndrome.

E3 is my halloween.

Apparently I'm the only person in the world that likes the Battle Network series.


And that other Megaman game looks pretty cool too.

I like the 2nd and 6th ones in the series a lot, actually. It's just that I do not approve of 90% of the new changes in Star Schwartz and the fact that they replaced several generations of progress for powering up your Megaman (Armor -> Style -> Soul -> Cross) with some mutilation of all of those together.

And yes, I'm going to get kicked by some Star Force fanboy for this post. But really? I don't care.

There's also the fact that the closest things we have to Robot Masters or Boss Navis is Zodiac Symbols.

Oh I love the battle network series. But this new one doesn't have any throwbacks to classic robot masters like exe did. Also, since I liked the MMBN series so much, this new game is bitter sweet, as it is kind of a continuation minus all the characters, so barf.

But the real reason I don't like it is that while they have wifi options, there's no online battle. MMBN SHOULD have had that, and when the decide to make this, they don't even implement it. Yea.

It does allow for custom icons and other neat stuff though. I'll sadly probably still buy it.

...Haha wow, screw this.

Jesus Christ, play some different games. We're not going to get anything on Zelda for a long time I'm betting.

And I'm fine with that, Twilight Princess filled my quota.

I want some Soul Calibur Legends info then, I'm waiting to see what they do with the game. I doubt Resident Evil 5 will show up, we could get lucky though. Fable 2 info too please, we haven't gotten any in a while.
