I'm new to these minigame/sprite/drawing competitions. How do I enter?

All you need to do is create a mini-game (not so short that it takes 30 seconds to beat it, but not so long that you don't give yourself enough time), using whatever means necessary. The game must meet the requirements given on the first post, and you must have a playable, running version uploaded for final showcase and judging/voting by the deadline, which happens to be at midnight (Mountain Time) on July 1st.


EDIT: Since your edit also mentioned the other competitions, this is only for the minigame competition. The same applies basically for the other competitions, but they have varying terms of submission, rules and what the topic must be.

I'm not sure about the rules of uploading the file using the upload option above the "Add Reply" and "Preview Post" button, but I assume it's safe to use for minigames, as long as

1. It's under the filesize of 10 MB, as stated beside it, and
2. It's your final version. We don't want you constantly uploading edits.

Not to worry. I extended the due date a week, because there were also other people who had dilemmas with starting it at the time given.
