Looks pretty cool.

Chagned the eyes on normal sprite, they looked a bit weird two pixels high

Well it's okay, but doesn't look like Mario much.

The only thing that looks like mario is the hat but its even hard to see.

That is because I made the mustache wrong, it looks like a mouth.

Updated, chagned mustache and added darker brown for hair

It kinda looks like he's constantly looking upwards.
Great job nonetheless.

Yes, it was unintentional. And making his eyes shroter made it look a bit meh

I think the sprite needs to be more vivid, and have some shading.

It has shading, anyway CS style doesn't need Shading on every single fragment of the sprite

Looking at the Cave Story sprites, this is about as close as it's going to get.

And it definitey looks like Mario. Anybody who's actually played video games in the last twenty years will recognize that look.

This sprite is small and not very nice.

1. It's meant to be, it's a small CS character
2. Learn to give C+C
