personally i think MFGGer-based games need to be finished to use external graphics and info files for the characters

that way we don't get 10-post members who've been here for 3 days requesting to be in it

The demo is really nice. I can't find any problems or glitches with the game, so far. If you're going to setup a request topic, give limitations and requirements in order to prevent random members from requesting, whom might have joined for the sole purpose of being in that game. I'll PM you about my character soon.

The character's sprites aren't aligned correctly (running looks weird)

plus WAY too much unnecessary "motion blur" effects (looks more gimmicky than anything)

the engine's ok, though

I like the motion blur effect. I think it will look cool when there's alot of characters fighting but that's just my opinion.

I'd say limit the blurs to fast motions and change them to another color, like blue or something.

Similar opinion.

The engine consists mostly of eye-candy, and features not much of an actual engine, but what you have there, is good for it not being so much.

Yeah you've definately gone a bit overboard with the motion blurs there, and the animation's hot spots could do with some tweaking.

Overall not bad. Needs a punch move though although I assume you're planning to add that.
