So we all listened to music when we were very little. Maybe even influenced by our parents.
Remember any songs or artists you listened to when you were very little? For some odd reason I vaguely remember when I was 3 years old, trying to sing Linger by The Cranberries in a long car ride from CA to AZ and asking Mason what streetlights were.

I also listened to Nirvana on a tape player when I was little, and Green Day's CD Dookie too. And I listened to Collective Soul. And also remember Soul Asylum. Oh and I stole my dad's Better Than Ezra CD because I loved the song 'Good' when I was like...7?

How has the music you listened to when you were little influenced the music you listen to now?

The only ones I can remember hearing from my childhood were my dad's old cassette of Heart's Greatest Hits, and a Sesame Street music video by Cookie Monster about Healthy Food (and this was back in the late 80s!).

Anything and everything by Tom Petty back then. And Elton John, I guess.

In particular, I remember "You Don't Know How it Feels" by Tom Petty... and, some other songs that I don't know the titles of.

Some other random artists I think I listened to as a kid:
The Cure (I am in love with them now)
Patsy Cline... Yeah...
Um, my cousin gave me an Ice Cube CD when I was like 3.
and polka. My grandma reeeeeally likes polka.

My grandpa always liked country music, and not what you guys would usually think of it. It is that cowboy country, as I like to call it.

Besides Disney movies, the theme of the original Power Rangers series

My middle-bro was so obsessed with it that he could spend half of the day singing it loudly

I'm the youngest in my family so I became influenced by my brother and sisters. My brother would listen to a lot of 90s alterbative bands.

But mosty, I remember listening and singing to disney music. On vacations I would bring a tape or cd of mixed Disney songs, and I would play it over and over again.
